After serving us well for the past three years the "riot van" has to go..it's showing the scars now!!
Might as well start with the bad bits..Mechanically it's good but the bodywork isn't!! Will need rear arches, cab steps, rear quarters??fuel filler surround, front valance, there's some bad rot round the windows, and the sliding door channel will need renewing as that's rotten all the way along!! and probably a new sliding door whilst your doing that as it's had a scrape and on the last day of using the van the mechanism imploded!! managed to get it shut but havn't dared try opening it since. It's hand painted matt black and the stickers have now started to come off..
This pic is the good side!!
1987 1.9 DG petrol,4 speed.
Done 45k on replacement exchange engine.
3k miles since last MOT.
Tax/MOT end of July.

There are some good bits(not on the outside though)
We bought it off an old guy that used it to go fishing in and he'd converted it from a panel van in 2001...

Exchange engine-650
Full width R+R bed-500
Headlining,panels-350
Floor and curtains-250
Windows-250
Rear seatbelts-150

In the last two years it's had new..

Starter motor
Front discs,pads,flexi pipes
Clutch slave cylinder
Dash pcb.
Full exhaust from Gsf 12 months ago...

Work done at Brickwerks..

Front to rear coolant pipes
Header tank
Fuel filler neck
Fuel tank
Clutch pipes
Rear brake rebuild
Full service

Did think about having the bodywork done but would've been paying someone else to do it and couldn't really do without a van for the four weeks it would've been in the bodyshop for, plus only had a budget of 2k which wouldn't have gone far so decided to get a new van!! If you can do your own bodywork/welding this would be a great project vehicle.

Price....not at all sure??

£695..ono

Which it probably would be worth in bits, but I haven't got the time/space/mechanical knowhow to do so. Will upload pics of the nasty bits tomorrow.

Will be sold (or towed away) with original steel wheels.

Tel. 07737375100

In Huddersfield.

Cheers,

Neil.

Just thought I'd add...

The van drives really well, pulls a lot stronger than the one I've just bought!! The bit at the end 'bout it being towed away mean't that if it dosn't sell as it is,will get the engine taken out and it can be towed away by Mr Scrappyman...

Oh,and forgot to say it's got an agreed value with Glynwood Wink
