The Cambelt broke on my 2000 TDI manuel with 102hp ACV engine, so the engien is toast. I have now got hold of a 2000 AUF 102hp engine for automartic. Anyone have any experience with this conversion?

You will need to remove the boss on the end of the crankshaft.
Drilling is the safest method.
