I am going to use a set of 17" alloys from an audi A4 quattro turbo ,
they are et 45 and 8x17,
i am going to need the centre bore enlarging ,
can i
a, just open it out with a grinder attachment ?,
b, get it machined/drilled so that it stays hubcentric ? (if so what is the proper size ? 64 -or 66mm ?)

and is the centre bore the same for the rears as the fronts ?
i have longer studs and bolts ready to go just need this centre bore info,
cheers for any help
got your number off the bathroom wall

Hi alldub, take front wheels to machine shop, bore out to 66mm.im sure you will require spacers on front to clear upper wishbone.rear centre bore should be ok but to keep centre caps you will need spacers as well.this will even things up as well and fill the rear arches better. ive got audi 7x17 et45 front and 8x17 et35 rear.anymore info required pm me.
