I've ended up with your old Audi ones Michael About the Caravelle though..I remember it from last year on eBay and it coming from the Preston area...well more like the table i remember(oh and those common wheels |

Be careful when buying/bidding on Caravelles or other T3s from Preston because there was a very shady dealer on Ebay last year. The first T3 he advertised was mid-brown with a capuccino roof & had the twin reverse seats/wooden flooring. Someone I know went to see it at (S)horrocks (sp?) Mill, Preston.It had allegedly been fitted with a recon engine but it turned out that the engine number had been ground off. The potential bidder walked away. I had actually placed one bid on the vehicle but fortunately I was outbid. Bidding got to around £2,400 when the vehicle was suddenly withdrawn & then shortly after relisted but failed to get any bids 2nd time around. The seller has used several names on Ebay & even advertised on another VW forum but was rumbled by several members & he disappeared back under his stone.

I second Hannover on that. I had check done on one of his vans.Didn't come back very favourable. There was pages of things wrong with it and discrepancies galore with his ad.He has since gone private on E-bay so you cant read his feedback anymore.

I kept an eye out for him for a while. Lee Horrocks was his name.You could just make out what he was wearing by his reflection in one of the photos on his ad. It appeared to be black and white striped jumper which I thought was just missing the arrows Not sure, but Bonnes' van on here, looks very much like one of his later ones. Twin slider with Merc rims. If I remember rightly, it came with very expensive Paul Smith curtains.It sold roughly a year ago. Could be wrong though |
