Any pipe smokers on here ?

.....the jacket going up in smoke was bad enough, I was wearing it too.....someone shouted '"yer smoking!"    "what the fook they on about....I ain't smokin?.........looked down and me brand new poser jacket was actually alight........did I feel a pratt.......anyway, I smoked the hooked pipes that you can leave dangling on your teeth and these eventually acquire 'adult dummy' status.  After 20 years or so me front teeth eventually wore away and opening ones gob revealed a perfect elipitical void........stuff that, new crowns and the cost of fitting and the pain...........pipes went in the bin!

Quit smoking a pipe some years back after I put it in a brand new jacket (that cost me loads) and it went up in flames, ......pissed off? ...you bet!  Anyway, girlfriend at the time rolled  fags and I ended up being a roller....now I just burn holes in just about everything I wear or sit on............can't fookin win and can't stop..........ah well, the pitfalls of  addiction!

Good to find a teacher that smokes a pipe. I can now either blame or thank you for making me smoke a pipe.
I am now almost sixty and when at school I was caught smoking a rollup by my HouseMaster. I was taken, together with two fo my pals, to his room where he made us smoke one of his pipes until we were ill.
I loved it and have been smoking a pipe ever since.
I suppose this must be a thankyou.

Id advise getting a cheap "corn cob" one like mine. Apparently pipes take on the characteristics of the baccy, so dont get a proper one till you found your ideal smoke.

Word to the wise..... "Clan" is revolting smelling stuff, gonna try Condor tonight...will report back
