Evening all,
As you've probably seen from the hundreds of other threads i've started, I now have an AAZ in the van. However I've had a few problems, and been sold some duff parts to boot. Long and short of it is that I now have the AAZ running, but the K14 Turbo is duff, no play in the shaft, but oil pouring down the exhaust. I have what I believe is the JX ex.manifold, with a 4 stud flange. I was using a K14 Turbo, I've attached a photo of the Part number plate on it. ![]() Photo of the exhaust manifold flange.. ![]() Finally, one of the over all unit. Excuse the actuator pipe, I only put that bit of fuel hose on so I didnt lose it. ![]() I've been trying to source a replacement, but it seems this is quite a rare beastie, as such does anyone know of a suitable alternative I could use? Thanks guys Chris

you can use any aaz turbo...either a four bolt one which just need re-indexing or a three bolt one and use adapter plates from Futbus (and reindex)
why not get your one refurbed? then you know you've a good unit? Midland turbo have been recommended to me. |

im struggling to find someone who is willing to have a look at refurbing this one. Soon as I give them the part number on it, they seem to lose interest.
I'll try futbus and see how much them adapter plates are... Thanks |

in all honestly mate, not very well.
Im looking at getting the K14 rebuilt. However my brother in law works for a well known jap car tuners, and has the facility to build exhausts and manifolds. So, we are making a new manifold to suit an alternative turbo, and exhaust to suit once I can find a good replacement :) |
