Hi all and a Happy New Year!

I'm in the middle of an Audi A4 AFN conversion (2 plug ECU) on my van, but i can't seem to find a decent wiring diagram which will help me get rid of any circuits i don't need. If anyone could be of any help, i can pay with beer?

Thank you in advance Smile

the relevant Haynes manual for your vehicle will also have some useful info and wiring diagrams. It does seem complex at first but what you end up with makes total sense.
If it`s not too late take photos too, including the vacuum set up for the turbo. I made a small error there and spent weeks, and close to a grand trying to eradicate an overboost issue that might have cost nothing. Smile

Folks, sorry to be a pain, but the AFN wiring diagram doesn't seem to reflect my loom.

I clumsily chopped 2 dash cluster wires whilst taking the protective fabric off and i can't find the other ends of them in the loom or what they're for on the diagram. Both are on the green connector. 1) solid green 2) Blue/Lilac

Grateful as always for any help Thumbs Up

Hope this helps - if you can find what pin it is on the green connector!

Thanks again Gary. Out of interest, did you work from a wiring diagram to suss your loom or trial and error?

Hi,

Haynes manual wasn't much use, so got the workshop manual (ELSA) from the auction site and trawled through pages of wiring diagrams. Engine loom is still the same, but the main loom to the dash was all laid out and zip tied down on a big sheet of cardboard then traced wires and cut out the redundant ones.

Regards

Gaz.

Thanks..
Have just confirm the white plug.. 90% ok.. but I don't know why but my white plug has no gray wire which is one of the wire I need for my pedal accelarator..
I also have a problem wiring my pedal acc wire to the white plug..
I know the white plug uses pin 1=Yellow 2= Red. 3 = brown/red. 4=gray/yellow. 5=gray (which I don't hv in My white plug) and pin 7 brown
My pedal acc wires are pin 1 =gray/white. 2=yellow/green. 3=gray/red. 4=white/blue. 5=gray/blue. 6=brown/blue

Could you help me match which wire from pedal accelarator goes to which wire to white plug..

Your help is much appreciated.. 🙏🙏🙏

I will have to check mine, but I can't get to my van because if the lockdown. The grey wire may be for kickdown on an auto, but don't quote me on that.
