Hi everyone,

I replaced my T3 from 1.9d 1Y to AAZ. I bought an old golf with the AAZ engine but I think I made a boohoo with the fuel pump.

There is a black and brown wire coming out from the aaz pump, I took off that black box thingy and the solenoid is working ok. I think I was should have kept the wiring loom from the golf as it looks like it's the later type pump.

What should I do? It sounds rattley when running as the pump must not be functioning 100% in it's current state.

There is pumps for sale here in sweden for AHU and 1Z engines, but maybe they are also the same with regards to the wiring loom?

Maybe a french filthy pump from a pug or a JX pump?

Any advice is greatly appreciated as I just want to get the bus back on the road!😀

Cheers
