Hi my 1993 t4 is running like its full choke on pure black smoke any idea what could cause this. It's a 2.5cc aaf engine 5 cylinder fuel injected digifant system any suggestions would be appreciated

Engine coolant temperature sensor could be dud if its ok when cold and worse when warm.

It's as above from the minute it starts from cold and it's the same when it's hot

Lambda sensor maybe, just try unplugging it and see if it makes any difference
