I should be on commission LOL

Dale, thanx that was a good review, I have been looking at a Pioneer unit, cant remember type, but it was about £1500, far more than i wanted to spend. I was told by the guy in the shop that Kenwoods were a bir fiddly to operate. I assume your happy with yours?

Think Ill look at the Kenwood as well.

Talking of caravelle lights, has anyone seen these....

If so what do you think, price isnt bad.

Them lights seem cheap Confused

The Kenwood is fairly easy to use tbh, does take a little while to set it all up but when you have been using it a while then its pretty straightforward

When I enquired for the lights @ VW, they worked out at just over £200. I was quite happy with a parts warranty from the seller and the savings. When I add up all my money savings on the stuff I've purchased (from looking around, bargain hunting) I expect I've saved a grand or so!

Each to their own though, thats just me :).

Like trying to get blood from a stone lol. They agree a 5% "trade" discount, still didn't make much of an impact!

I did manage to get a 15% discount on a bulk order from Westbury Heritage, but Bristol Heritage = Angry

I paid  £200 plus my original lights from Vw fitted so not as cheap, but within 6 months the seal had gone on the lights and they had condensation in them, vw replaced them no probs at no cost ,so would be a far better option to go with vw considering fitting costs.

As far as I remember, the Depo ones (non VW) that I use are vented, so they can breathe. I don't know why the designed it like that, but it must allow the bulbs to cool better + any slight condensation goes as soon as the bulbs are warm. The VW ones are completely sealed. Just something I thought I'd share.
Might of been designed that way so they don't get loads of warranty claims on broken seals? no idea
