Unfinished project,,, I have had this van 12 years and it has spent most of its life in storage.
It was only on the road for about 8 of its 23 years and only found its self out side recently as older vans needed the space inside.
Its a RHD 1986 D-reg Doubledoor kombi with 1900cc watercooled engine and 5 speed box fitted.
Mainly in OG paint apart from where I went crackers with primer on flatted out stone chips etc.
Genuinely very little rust.
It has not been started in years but before I gave up on it for splitty buses I bare metaled the engine bay and resprayed with the OG colour 2pac paint then waxoiled the area. The engine & 5 speed box came from another of my vans at the time and was fitted with new starter, alternator, clutch, exhaust, mounts, rocker gaskets etc etc. Nice engine and box with only 80k on but not started for years.
The body at the time only needed a few hours welding and still doesnt need much more today, A weekend would see it back ready for paint which it comes with (og colour in 2pac). Never welded in the past, needs nothing doing on the underside just a few bits to the body, Not all rusting on the seems like many are nowadays but has been dry stored most of its life.
Comes with a couple of little repair section for the n/s rear arch which I cut off.
Now has hole in front steps and panel below grill/above bumper holed.
It has a Jamex lowering shock kit still in box and 16" Momo Arrows with new tyres 205s up front and 225s rear (perelli p6000)
All new hardware for fitting the alloys, Have run this wheel combo before on a lowered T3 and works well.
There is a few bumpers, front grills (1 is twin headlight) and taillights/headlights as loads of spares inc.
Will need the lowering springs to go with the shocks and the brakes rebuilding, Radiator replaced.
I spent over £1500 on this bus back in the day, If I got back £500? I have too much on with my early buses and just know I will not find the time to get back to this one.
I have the middle and rear seat frames og to the bus.

Would swap/trade anything interesting as this needs to be back in doors to finish and I no longer have the room.

Will do what I can to help with shipping but remember this old girl is up in North East Of Scotland Nr Aberdeen..

For some more pics.......... http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=568074

i would be happy to take that off your hands... even consider the grill only if its fairly cheap

if you were no so far away i would consider the hole thing and break it..

Its just funny, you coming from the split-screen world that you see it a 99.9% solid. Too many Swedish forest finds?
You never know, In 20 years people might be saying 'how could he of sent that to the crusher!!'
Good luck to you. Smile

The only bits not solid on this bus are as follows....

The bottom of both cab steps.
Small section needs replaced just below the lower front grill.
1 rear wheelarch + lower corner panel (supplied)

The chassis and the rest of the underside is like new, Floors like new.
The yellow primer is hiding nothing it only looks so rough as it was partly prepped for paint and that was 10 years ago. Been sat out side for best part of a year now.

If you know what you are looking at you should be able to work out from the pics that this is a little used bus 99.9% solid, Partly prepped for paint then left out side to deteriate.

Looks like a good project for me! However i'm down in Cornwall so I couldn't be further away if I triedLOLLOL I have travelled far in the past to pick up vans etc but not the best part of 1200mile round trip. Probably cost me £500 in fuel using my mates land cruiser and trailerSmile It's to good to crush though... best of luck with the sale.

Shame as I recently sold my smallframe 1966 V90 with original 13515miles on it, wasn't quite like the pics below when I got it thoughLOLLOLLOL been off the road for over 25 years!!!
