Smile hi i just got a set of merc monoblocks they are 7.5x17 et35 with 205/40/17 tyres.will they fit ok or will they foul the front arches or anything  thanks.i forgot to say the van is lowered by 40mm.

I think they will be ok .might need a small spacer so the wheel ckears the wishbone. I would change the tyres though to a higher profile to keep gearing and speedo correct

I'd change the tyres to a higher profile to keep the alloys from running on the floor and keep my teeth in my mouth! Big smile
I run 205/40R17 on the front of my bug and that's as low as I'd dare on that! - my Bluestar runs 215/45R17 (on 7.5J Monoblocks) at the front

Yes i agree 205/40 are too small and i dont think they are available with a suitable load rating

You cans get them load rated but I agree much to low. I'd be looking at 225/50 or bigger l like 65 or 70 profile personally on a T3 :)
