Hey Dr Dub, I'm going the same route as you and using the 915 box on an SVX, did you use the 915 shifter or adapt the van one?

When i fitted my SVX, i binned the oil to water cooler and fitted a remote cooler takeoff with stat instead which gave me loads more ground clearance, can't remember how much i cut out of the sump but the oil filter, exhaust and sump are all now at the same height and it seems to work fine with sensible clearance even on a lowered van.
Take it steady on that DK box !!.

How much did you shorten the sump by? Did you have to alter the oil pick up by much?

Random update of worlds worst build thread,  it's back from the paint shop and it's now all shiny.

Got to pop the engine back in and find all the bits that we've lost, sort the brakes and do something to the suspension.

Excuse the crap phone pictures, I will take some decent ones shortly.... possibly!
