Hi everyone my friend has has an 06 2.5 tdi 109 it 35
It has no power in 3rd gear and when going up hills or a slight incline it realy struggles. We have check all vacuum lines and boost control valve seams to work the vnt seams to engage you can feel it move a bit when conectng and disconnecting the vacume pipes from control valve if we disconct the maf sensor its even worse its like the turbo in not marking any boost in 3rd in 2nd it seams like it has a bit of boost but u can not hear the turbo at all Next we are going to look at egr valve and check all pipes Anyone else come across the problem before |

You need to check for codes - ideally with VCDS. After vacuum lines and N75 valve the next suspect would be the MAP sensor and this will generally throw a fault code. If it's faulty don't do what I did and buy a cheap one off fleabay, they're crap, order from the part code off the sensor. If the codes shows it is overboosting then in all likelihood your VNT is sticking. This will put the engine into limp mode with no boost. TT
