ive got some 15 inch steels that are a direct fit...
they are ford grany steels but fit perfect and no need for spacers...
WHY T3's.... because they are just so adictive, and having one just aint enough

Cheers Shapey..

Now looking at keeping the 14's and just putting larger tyres on the rear...  All I want is 5-10 mph more on the crusing speed..  Not too bothered about loss on pulling away speed, and the 1.9 is tourquey enough..  been spinning the rears when pulling away in the wet anyway!!  Gives the nova-chavs a bit of a shock at the lights!

As soon as I get into the stud conversion/spacers I imagine it's going to cost me money!  I was looking for a cheap-ish solution...

i got some 16" merc steelies from german ebay - as mike says they're pretty difficult to find in the uk...
16x7.5 et42 from an e class
front stud conversion & long rear studs with 16mm spacers (10mm didn't clear the suspension)

Merc wheels have a huge offset so you'd need big spacers and longer bolts or bolt on spacers.
T5 wheels have a different PCD, 5x120.
You can fit Mercedes 15 or 16 inch steelies. The 15s you need come from the C-Class and they come as either 15x6.5 with 37mm offset or 15x6 with a 31mm offset. They're on ebay fairly often.
16's come from the E-class, I've only seen one set and I bought them! They were 16X6.5s with a 41mm offset so would fit but ideally need a 10mm spacer.

Hello all...

I want to put larger steel wheels 15/16 on..  primarily to increase the rolling radius to gain a slightly better top speed.

After reading I gather that Merc Vito wheels will go straight on, as will T5 steels..  Am I right?
