Cheers Steve
I knew it was on here somewhere but I couldn't find it. Just me being feckin useless again.
I meant to say I loved that SA 2.5 you had for sale on the bay of sleaze. Did it reach top dollar as I missed the end?

Not quite, Syncro 16s have the same springs as Syncro 14s and Welded sheel metal reinforcment panels were not on Crewcabs or Single Cabs.

Also rear driveshafts are thicker, front driveshafts and outer CV joints are bigger on models which came with front diff lock as an option.

Front brakes, only difference is the hub (and larger diameter disc) which mounts the caliper further out to allow the bigger disc. Calipers and pads are the same as Syncro 14, and late 2WD.

Thanks for the info chaps.

Glad you popped by MG just the man I wanted to speak to. I'm after fitting some ML rims to my 14 and was wondering what’s the largest I could fit with out getting in to clearance issues? I do what to jack her up a bit at some point, but I have too many other projects on the go at the moment. I've just read the other post with the info about raising the height, but it all sounded a bit Dutch to me, must be the lack of sleep I'll have another look when I'm awake.

This is my new toy Smile she needs some tlc and may be some camo graphics, but the jury is still out on that one.
